Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy was born in Edmonton in Alberta, Canada on November 25, 1968. She is one of Canada's most famous and wealthiest television actresses. She starred with Chris Noth in Law and Order. Hennessy's father was John Hennessy. John Hennessy her father worked as a salesman for food, sales/marketing manager and required her to travel extensively. The family of her father was always moving. Her mother died in 1982. Maxine quit her family, and she was taken care of mostly with Eleanor the maternal aunt in Kitchener Ontario. Her twin sister Jacqueline is a magazine writer, and her brother John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. was raised in Canada. Hennessy is a member of a family that is of Irish French Swedish Italian descent Her mother, however, is mostly Ukrainian Roma with Austrian roots. She went to Stanley Park Senior Public School where she graduated Grand River Collegiate Institute and busked in Toronto. Hennessy made her acting debut along with her sister on Dead Ringers, 1988. Based on Gillian Anderson, the actress who won the role, she was nominated for the role of Dana Scully in The X-Files. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two sons.
