Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress well known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. After that, she performed in several Broadway productions before she became a star on national stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina the same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous hit and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to play between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has gained recognition as a director on several well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She was there ever since.
