Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the only woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Winner at The Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was born and raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at the age of five. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in California in the year 2009. She did well in her first races and placed within the top 10 of 70. However she was unable to take home any titles and ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. In her second year of competition that she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she was the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to ever win successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. Besides this in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. In the last few years, as an athlete Annie has been a face of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae and many other brands. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie", with over 1000 viewers. This is the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family as well as travel.
