Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and raised in Rome by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian soldier in the Army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of Benito Mussolini's mistresses. She does not have any known siblings. Luciana was a student at the high school in her town, following her graduation in the year 1955. She then studied Naval Engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan. She was the sole woman within the class. After two years of modeling, she got the role of Three Coins in the Fountain. This was her debut. Brett Halsey, an actor herself, was her first spouse. Following the wedding, in 1960 they recorded a film entitled Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana received custody after they split just a couple of years later. Charles became a baby. Luciana was married to Tony Athony. They were together between 1962 and 1970. Tony Athony played an actor and producer who was influenced by Luciana's work on the film Green Slime. Based on this, he produced and created the Spaghetti Western hybrid that became popular.
